The routes featured on this page are just a sampling of the many possibilities available in the Boundary Waters. We can customize your route around your interests—whether you’re looking for waterfalls, fishing, beautiful scenery, hiking, or a little of everything. Routes can also be adapted to make your trip shorter or longer, with many offering flexibility to adjust along the way—even after your adventure has begun.
Most entry points are a 10–45-minute shuttle ride from the outfitter on your departure day. Pine Lake (Entry Point 68), John Lake (Entry Point 69), and North Fowl Lake (Entry Point 70) are accessed from the same general area near McFarland and Little John Lakes. These destinations involve a longer shuttle ride—approximately 90 minutes from our outfitting partners. We proudly service all three, and each is an excellent option for your adventure. Simply keep the additional travel time in mind when choosing your route and entry point.
