An old hand plane and simple tools used to build Clearwater Lodge in the early 1900s offer a quiet connection to the hands that shaped it. More than a century later, these tools endure alongside the work they helped create. Their worn surfaces tell of patient labor, practical skill, and a time when a place like Clearwater took shape one cut, one log, one pair of hands at a time.
